Adéle's Mohair is a meticulously handcrafted South African brand that produces designer knitting yarns, accessories and home textiles. The company was founded in 1983 by Adéle, who still runs the production, adhering to the principles of fair trade and sustainable production.
Luxurious natural fibers – mohair (from Angora goats) and merino wool (from sheep) – are sourced locally, ensuring the highest quality. Current trends in recycling and sustainability have inspired Adéle's Mohair to create new, contemporary products while maintaining respect for nature and traditional craftsmanship.
The workshop is located in a picturesque area between the cities of East London and Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
Adele's Mohair Extra Fine Boucle Kidmohair – these are extremely light, fluffy and luxurious yarns with a looped (bouclé) structure effect. Made from high-quality kid mohair, they give knitwear softness, warmth and a subtle fluffiness. Perfect for sweaters, scarves, shawls or accessories when you want a light, airy fabric.
