Tips (formerly called "stoppers") are designed for Tulip CarryC and CarryC Long Screw-in needles. They are used when you need to temporarily put your knitting aside – for example, leaving the armholes open when knitting a sweater from above or interrupting work on another project.
The tips are easily screwed onto the line instead of the tips of the rods, securely holding the eyes and preventing them from slipping.
