Wool and the Gang Glitterball

This yarn is made from 95 % Bluefaced Leicester wool, an old English breed that originated in Northumberland in the early 20th century. The sheep's name comes from its characteristic „blue“ muzzle - white hairs on dark skin. Today, the sheep are common in the north of England, Scotland and Wales.

Bluefaced Leicester wool is valued for its exceptional softness, strength and durability. It is one of the most practical of all natural wools, with long-lasting shape and excellent wearability.

These threads are complemented by a delicate lurex thread that gives the knitwear a light shine and elegance.
